Our core inspection

PV Health Inspection

Know the condition of your solar system.

We carry out a structured visual assessment of your existing residential PV system and review available performance information to identify visible issues, maintenance requirements and areas that may require further investigation.

  • Solar panel visual inspection
  • Visible panel damage
  • Mounting system visual inspection
  • Roof/PV interface visual inspection
  • Visible cable/conduit condition
  • Inverter visual/status review
  • Monitoring/app review
  • Generation/performance review where information is available
  • Shading assessment
  • Bird activity
  • Nesting/debris
  • Soiling
  • Visible defects
  • Photographic documentation
  • Clear recommendations

Thermal Imaging Inspection

See what the eye can't.

Thermal imaging can help identify temperature differences across PV modules and components that may not be visible during a standard visual inspection. It is used as an additional inspection tool to identify areas that may warrant further investigation.

  • PV module temperature patterns
  • Suspected hot areas
  • Abnormal temperature differences
  • Localised heating patterns
  • Connections/components where thermally accessible
  • Comparison of similar modules under suitable conditions

Thermal imaging is a non-invasive inspection technique used to identify temperature differences and potential areas requiring further investigation. It does not replace electrical testing, commissioning tests or specialist electrical fault diagnosis.

When was your solar system last inspected?

  • My solar isn't producing what it used to.
  • I don't know if my panels are performing properly.
  • I've never had my solar system inspected.
  • There are pigeons nesting underneath the panels.
  • My panels are heavily soiled.
  • I want an independent opinion on the condition of my PV system.
